East Valley Brain Injury Support Group
Coping with brain injury is often a monumental challenge for survivors and their families. Ongoing support and encouragement in a safe space can lessen the burdens associated with tremendous life changes following the experience of a brain injury.
Annette Zaccari founded the East Valley Brain Injury Support Group as a way for survivors and their families to come together to share experiences and offer support and encouragement. The Survivor Group and the Family Group meet separately with each exploring and navigating through the maze of brain injury. Annette has facilitated brain injury support groups for survivors and their families since 1991. The East Valley Group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. Location: The Church of the Resurrection has graciously donated two rooms for the East Valley Group, 3201 South Evergreen Road, Tempe, AZ 85282. Rooms 2 and 3.
